»Fire of my Loins« is a dreamlike sequence about a girl dancing with a stranger who is then taken away by the wind. In its extreme concision the movie portrays the elusiveness of the moment of falling in love.
In this 3D short film Rosana Cuellar was first engaged with the possibilities of stereoscopic technology in film as well as interdisciplinary dramaturgic approaches: the narrative is not driven by dialogues or action but rather by a musical and choreographic development, where the objects work as pieces in themselves.
